Dat de Muur vandaag op het programma stond, was hopelijk niet de aanleiding van het ontslag van de burgemeester van Geraardsbergen. Maar het dichte wolkendek dat zich concentreerde boven de Dendervallei was misschien te interpreteren als een teken aan de wand.
Regarding dress code: it is considered bad practice to ride in short lycra-pants, fingerless gloves or limit the upper-body outfit to a base layer and a jacket. At least if the temperature has only reached 2°C after 2 hours of cycling (start temperature was around 0°C). It is, however, an extra motivation to ride faster.
